Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking a Full-Time In-Home Veterinarian to serve the East Bay, CA area including Oakland, Berkeley, and surrounding communities. This mobile role focuses on hospice and euthanasia care, offering flexibility and meaningful patient-family interactions.

You will join a network of veterinarians providing compassionate, doctor-led care in clients' homes, supported by onboarding, mentorship, and a 24/7/365 support center.

Qualifications

• DVM degree required and eligible for veterinary license in CA.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability for weekend work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinary care.
• Develop and discuss care plans with pet families.
• Maintain medical records and coordinate with mentoring staff.
