Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a licensed DVM to provide in-home euthanasia and compassionate end-of-life care for pets within the greater Los Angeles area. This role requires extensive travel to client homes, delivering respectful care in familiar surroundings.

You will join Hearts & Halos and Thrive’s team, benefiting from medical excellence and dedicated mentorship, while supporting families through difficult moments with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
100% travel required.
Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

Responsibilities

Provide in-home euthanasia and compassionate end-of-life care to pets in their homes.
Travel to homes of pets in need of in-home euthanasia as required.
Collaborate with Thrive Pet Healthcare and Hearts & Halos teams to ensure high-quality care and patient comfort.
