Job summary

Blanchard Machinery Company in Summerville, SC is seeking a Mobile Hydraulic Hose Technician to fabricate, assemble, and repair hydraulic hoses and systems at customer sites. The role requires travel to multiple locations to minimize downtime.

You will work in a mobile service truck, perform hose fabrication, fittings installation, inspection, testing, and maintain safety standards while delivering excellent customer service and on-site support.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; hydraulics certification preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of proven experience as Hydraulic Hose Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hydraulic systems and components.
• Able to read hydraulic schematics and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, including crimping machines and measuring equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication with customers.
• Valid SC driver's license with clean record for mobile positions.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites in a mobile service truck to provide on-site hydraulic hose service.
• Fabricate hydraulic hoses by measuring, cutting, and crimping to specifications.
• Assemble and install hose fittings for leak-free operation.
• Inspect, repair, and pressure-test hose assemblies and hoses.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic system issues in the field and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records, hose inventory, and installations.
• Ensure safety compliance and keep mobile workspace clean and organized.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members; perform other duties as assigned.
