Job summary

PIRTEK Beaverton is hiring two mechanically inclined technicians to provide mobile hydraulic hose repair across the Portland area. You’ll drive a service truck, identify problems, and build replacement hoses to keep equipment running.

No hydraulic experience is required—paid training is provided. This role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy problem solving, customer interaction, and independent fieldwork in Beaverton and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Good mechanical ability and comfort working with tools.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field.

Responsibilities

• Respond to scheduled service calls and occasional after hours.
• Build, replace, and install hydraulic and industrial hoses.
• Work on construction equipment, trucks, machinery, agricultural equipment, and other commercial equipment.
• Provide friendly, dependable service to customers.
• Maintain your service truck, tools, parts, and inventory.
• Complete basic work orders and service records.
• Look for additional ways PIRTEK can help each customer.
• Follow company and jobsite safety procedures.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule that includes some nights, weekends, and holidays.
