Job summary

Lumpkin Industries is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician to operate from a personal service truck across Metro Atlanta, diagnosing and repairing equipment in the field. The role emphasizes independence, professional service, and customer interaction to minimize downtime.

The position offers substantial earnings potential ($80,000–$100,000+ per year) and a $3,000 starting bonus, with company-provided tools, truck, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years old with valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical experience with the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment.
• Physical agility and stamina for field-service work.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to pass a drug screen, DOT physical, and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer job sites throughout Metro Atlanta.
• Diagnose hydraulic hose failures and related mechanical equipment issues.
• Manufacture replacement hydraulic hose assemblies on your service truck.
• Remove and install hose assemblies and test completed repairs when possible.
• Explain repairs professionally and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, fully functional service truck, tools, and inventory.
• Complete accurate service documentation.
• Participate in the after-hours emergency service rotation, approximately every 4-5 weeks.
