JLL is seeking a Mobile Engineer to maintain essential facility systems across Columbia, SC, with on-site responsibilities and on-call availability. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, and related production equipment to ensure reliable operations for client occupancy.

Ideal candidates have at least four years' building engineering experience, a universal CFC recovery certification, and hands-on knowledge of CMMS tools and trade

Formación

• Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment).
• Minimum of 4 years of technical building engineering experience with HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of overall system design and applications.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive and repair work orders on mechanical, electrical and other systems.
• Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC/R systems and related equipment and electrical distribution.
• Study equipment and learn proper usage for daily activities.
• Perform facility inspections and due diligence, reporting conditions affecting occupancy.
• Submit P-card receipts daily and update work orders in real time.

Mobile Engineer

What this job involves

• Operates, inspects, andmaintainsall HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment and systems in assigned facilities to obtain most efficient operating results and life expectancy.
• Assures that equipment is beingmaintainedin an energy efficient, safe manner and down time is reduced to a minimum by anticipation of necessary repairs keeping records of past operating experiences.
• Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc.
• Strong focus on operating,maintaining,troubleshootingand repairingfacility equipment on all HVAC/R systems.
• Individuals are expectedtodemonstratetechnicalexpertisein HVAC and refrigeration and be multi skilled in electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, Material HandlingEquipmentand othersin order tosuccessfully complete daily/weekly work assignments.

What is your day to day?

• Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical,electricaland other installed systems, equipment, and other components.
• Maintain,operate, and repair all HVAC/R systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds, and production equipment as it pertains to assigned buildings.
• Study and become familiar with thevarious itemsof equipment, and the methodsrequiredto use them properly, that arerequiredin everyday activities.
• Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts,reporting onas found conditionsimpactingsatisfactory client occupancy and operations.
• Submit P-card Receipts Daily
• Update work order status in real time
• Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for all work performed.
• Candidate mustpossessand maintain a valid state driver’s license
• Must be available for Call-in work and perform other duties asrequired

Required Qualifications

• Universal CFC recovery certification (or within90 daysof employment)
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in the technical aspects of HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of overall system design and applications.
• Experience troubleshooting andmaintainingcommercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• ExperienceutilizingCMMS (Work Order) systems
• Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel
• Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems,refrigerationand HVAC

Location

Mobile position covering Columbia, SC and surrounding area. Location: On-site –Columbia, SC
