Jones Lang LaSalle in Houston is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform and oversee preventive and repair tasks on facility systems, with focus on HVAC, electrical and related equipment. You will maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems, review readings, and support safety and emergency responses as part of a multi-skilled facilities team.
Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 4+ years in electrician or HVAC trades, and familiarity with CMMS tools.

The Mobile Engineer has a strong focus on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment on all systems. To successfully complete daily/weekly work assignments, the Mobile Engineer is expected to demonstrate technical expertise in one craft area (e.g. Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, etc.) and be multi-skilled in others.
Ability to perform all work using the proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Serve as a client-facing representative of JLL by maintaining professional communication with customers, site personnel, and stakeholders while delivering technical HVAC services and supporting facility operations. Strong Interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of computer applications, including Word and Excel Education/Training High School Diploma or equivalent work experience Minimum of two years of college or related trade schooling Minimum of four years’ experience in the electrician trade or related field – or minimum of four-years’ experience in the HVAC/refrigeration trade or related field.
Must be available for Call-in work and perform other duties as required. Certifications/licenses HVAC technicians must have a Universal CFC recovery certification High School diploma or GED equivalent. Licenses as required by authority having jurisdiction.
Lifting up to 80 lbs. Working from heights. Frequently climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working/extending overhead. Working in adverse conditions (i.e., extreme cold, extreme hot). Climbing a ladder with a 300 lb weight limit while carrying a tool bag weighing approximately 20 lbs. Climbing a ladder up to 30 feet.
