What this job involves

This position involves operating, inspecting, and maintaining HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in assigned facilities. The Mobile Engineer ensures equipment is maintained efficiently and safely, minimizes downtime, and performs repairs on interior and exterior areas of properties, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting systems.

Your day-to-day tasks
  • Performing preventive maintenance and repair work orders on facility systems and equipment
  • Maintaining, operating, and repairing HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Conducting facility inspections and reporting on conditions affecting client operations
  • Responding to emergencies promptly and effectively
  • Preparing and submitting summary reports on work performed and recommending actions
  • Familiarizing yourself with various equipment and proper usage methods
  • Complying with safety procedures and maintaining good housekeeping practices
  • Ensuring compliance with state, county, and city ordinances, codes, and laws
  • Supporting after-hours building activities as required
Experience and skills

Requirements:

  • Universal EPA 608 Certification
  • Journeyman License
  • Minimum 4 years of technical experience in building engineering
  • Strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment repair and maintenance
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb up to 30 ft. ladders
  • Availability for on-call duties and overtime as needed

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of overall MEP/HVAC system design and application
  • Experience managing work orders using CMMS technology
  • Experience in service-related roles specific to commercial facilities
Compensation and location

Estimated total compensation for this position: 66,560.00 - 72,800.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
