Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile HVAC Engineer to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems across multiple facilities in Orlando and Tampa. You will provide preventive maintenance, repairs, and support for building systems as part of Engineering and Technical Services.

The role requires 4–5 years of related experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to meet physical demands. CBRE offers a collaborative environment aligned with the RISE values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting 50 lbs or more.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset for analyzing and solving problems.
• Sophisticated math skills for percentages and basic financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Impact a range of customer, operation, project, or service activities within your team and related teams.
• Inspect and maintain building HVAC equipment to codes and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform HVAC repairs, including electrical and plumbing systems.
• Perform assigned repairs and preventive maintenance; keep records of work performed.
• Operate company vehicles as part of daily duties.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to solve non-routine problems and coach others.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values in daily work.
• Explain complex information clearly to team members and clients.
