Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice, In-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare, is seeking compassionate veterinarians to perform end-of-life care in clients' homes across New Jersey. You’ll work independently on the road, with full support from a mentoring team and flexible scheduling options.

Guaranteed base salary with quarterly bonus opportunities, plus comprehensive benefits and retirement plans. Choose from 5-day or 4-day full-time, or 2–3 day schedules with prorated compensation, all with no non-compete.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• Weekend availability as part of flexible schedule options.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care for pets.
• Support families through compassionate end-of-life decisions and grieving process.
