Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice in Morristown, NJ seeks compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and end-of-life euthanasia, practicing medicine in the comfort of the pet’s home. You won’t be clocked into a clinic; you’ll have time to listen, explain, and support families during their darkest moments.

Work on the road with 2–5 day options and self-managed scheduling. We offer onboarding, mentorship, generous benefits, and a base salary with quarterly bonuses, plus a no non-compete policy.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) is required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
• Weekends on your terms; flexible scheduling to fit life.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and end-of-life care for pets.
• Practice medicine independently on the road with robust support and mentorship from the team.
• Engage with families on difficult conversations and ensure dignified goodbyes.
