Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking a compassionate veterinarian to provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care across South Carolina, including Columbia, Chapin, Lexington and Elgin. You’ll practice medicine on the road, independently yet supported by a mentorship team, with a schedule built around your life.

Choose from 5-day, 4-day, or 2–3 day schedules, with base salaries from $50k to $130k and quarterly bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 90 lbs with assistance.
• Background check, license verification and driving record review before start.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care to pets.
• Practice medicine independently on the road with mentorship support.
• Schedule 2–5 days per week with self-managed options.
• Prioritize compassionate discussions with families and answer questions.
