Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking a compassionate veterinarian to provide end-of-life care in the home setting across Michigan cities including Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Royal Oak, Trenton, Taylor and Clarkston. You’ll practice on the road, with a supportive team and mentorship from day one, focusing on dignity, empathy, and meaningful patient-family moments.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Weekends on your terms with 4 weekend days per month option.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• Background check, license verification and driving record review before start.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care.
• Practice medicine on the road with patient families in their homes.
• Work with a mentorship-focused team and supportive onboarding.
