Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice offers compassionate end-of-life care to pets in the comfort of the family home, bringing gentle hospice and in-home euthanasia to clients across Massachusetts and surrounding metro areas. Veterinarians work on the road, with a supportive team and comprehensive onboarding.

Choose from 5-day, 4-day, or 2–3 day schedules with self-managed options; guaranteed base salary with generous quarterly bonuses, and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) is required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
• Weekends on your terms.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification, a background check, and a driving record review before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care to pets in the families' homes.
• Practice compassionate end-of-life care and support to grieving families.
• Operate independently on the road with mentorship and team support.
