Job summary

Karian Peterson, LLC in Minnesota is seeking a skilled field service technician to maintain and repair our fleet of heavy equipment across a five-state area. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose diesel engines and hydraulics, and respond to field service calls to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with heavy trucks, a valid CDL, willingness to travel, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Health and retirement benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience maintaining heavy trucks and equipment.
• A valid CDL (commercial driver’s license).
• Willingness to travel for field service across our five-state area.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair the fleet: digger derricks, bucket trucks, pressure diggers, track units, the directional bore machine, and the vacuum excavator
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and keep service records current
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and truck-mounted equipment
• Handle field service calls to get a down rig running and a crew back to work
• Keep aerial equipment inspected and compliant so it’s safe to put a lineman in the bucket
