Job summary

James River Equipment in Asheville, NC, seeks a Mobile Lube Technician to inspect, maintain, and service heavy equipment at client sites. You will order parts, manage oils and filters, and prepare service reports while following safety and site policies. Travel to customer locations is required daily.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a Medical DOT card, and a valid driver’s license. CDL is not required but preferred. Strong communication and basic math are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have Medical DOT card and a valid driver’s license; CDL is not required, but preferred.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and service heavy equipment.
• Order parts and keep Lube truck stocked with oils and filters.
• Prepare accurate inspection and service reports and maintain other records as required.
• Complete oil and filter services within SPG’s and service estimates.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Work in a safe manner and comply with site policies.
• Travel daily to customer locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
