Job summary

Independence Excavating, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Fuel Lube Technician to join our field team. You will set up and perform routine fueling, greasing, and fluid top-offs on our diverse fleet, while maintaining records and complying with DOT regulations.

Travel to multiple job sites is required. The ideal candidate will hold a Class B CDL with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements (or willingness to obtain) and be able to work extended hours outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Must have Class B CDL with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements, or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to travel to various job sites and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Under limited supervision, set up and carry out a fuel route while greasing and topping off fluids on vehicles and equipment as needed
• Prepares and maintains records and reports
• Wet line fueling equipment experience
• Must be able to travel to various job sites
• Comply with ALL D.O.T rules and regulations
• Other duties as assigned
