Job summary

Pape' Truck Leasing, a leading truck and equipment dealer, is hiring a Mobile Truck Technician / Mechanic to work in the field at customer sites on medium and heavy-duty Class 7/8 trucks. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment to maximize uptime and safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience on medium/heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks incl. engine repair and electrical systems
• Basic computer knowledge; Cummins & MX software experience preferred
• Self-motivation and assertiveness; able to work with little supervision
• Excellent communication and customer-relations skills; provide own tools
• Driver's license with good driving record; Class A CDL preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair medium/heavy-duty trucks in the field at customer locations
• Restore uptime by returning trucks to service quickly and correctly
• Service and maintain trucks to minimize downtime and extend vehicle life
• Work with safety standards and deliver high-quality workmanship
• Communicate effects of repairs to customers and team
