Job summary

Rural Metro Fire Department is seeking qualified personnel for a non-emergency EMT role within the Mobile Health department. You will respond to business client requests for on-site first aid and drug testing services, delivering high-quality care within scope of practice and established protocols.

Required are an Oregon EMT license, CPR certification, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Duties include documentation, vehicle readiness, and coordination with client healthcare

Qualifications

• Must have problem-solving and strong written/verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED required; Oregon EMT license required.
• CPR certification (AHA Health Care Provider) required; DOT/DATIA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment and first aid for contracted clients.
• Perform drug screening and specimen collection for on-site testing.
• Maintain certification for breath alcohol testing and related procedures.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain readiness of medical supplies.
• Complete documentation per company policy and participate in in-services.
