Bark & Mane of South Bay is hiring a Mobile Groom Tech who loves dogs and cats. You’ll bathe, dry, brush, prep, and pamper pets in a fully equipped mobile grooming van while receiving paid, hands-on training from experienced groomers.

This role offers a structured path toward becoming a professional groomer, with paid training, flexible scheduling, and competitive pay including tips and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum1 year of animal-handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bathe, dry, brush, and prep dogs and cats for grooming.
• Assist with de-shedding, coat prep, nail care, and grooming prep.
• Safely handle pets of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, sanitized grooming van.

What You’ll Do

• Bathe, dry, brush, and prepare dogs and cats for grooming
• Assist with de‑shedding, coat prep, nail care, and other grooming services
• Safely handle pets of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized grooming van
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Continue developing your grooming skills through training and coaching

What We’re Looking For

• Must genuinely enjoy working with dogs and cats
• Minimum 1 year of professional animal-handling experience – Bathing, veterinary, shelter, boarding, daycare, or grooming experience preferred
• Dependable & Professional – Punctual, reliable, and proud of your work
• Independent & Self-Motivated – Comfortable working independently
• Team Player – Communicates well and accepts coaching
• Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record – Minimum 3 years of driving experience and comfortable driving a large van
• Strong Customer Service Skills – Comfortable working with both pets and people
• Physically Capable – Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 60 lbs.
