Qualifications

What You’ll Do

• Bathe, dry, brush, and prepare dogs and cats for grooming
• Assist with de-shedding, coat prep, nail care, and other grooming services
• Safely handle pets of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized grooming van
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Continue developing your grooming skills through training and coaching

What We’re Looking For

• Must genuinely enjoy working with dogs and cats
• Minimum 1 year of professional animal-handling experience - Bathing, veterinary, shelter, boarding, daycare, or grooming experience preferred
• Dependable & Professional - Punctual, reliable, and proud of your work
• Independent & Self-Motivated - Comfortable working independently
• Team Player - Communicates well and accepts coaching
• Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record - Minimum 3 years of driving experience and comfortable driving a large van
• Strong Customer Service Skills - Comfortable working with both pets and people
• Physically Capable - Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 60 lbs.
