Job summary

Jobtailor in Los Angeles seeks a Mobile Installation Technician to install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking devices on fleet assets.

You will perform 12V/24V wiring, route wiring for clean installations, travel to customer sites, document work with photos and service notes, and maintain safety and right-first-time quality. ASE or I-CAR certifications are preferred, and valid US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics
• Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and technical instructions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment
• Travel to customer and fleet locations for mobile installations and projects
• Test GPS, wireless connectivity, cameras, sensors, and system functionality
• Document completed installations with photos, device information, and service notes
