Overview

This is a completely mobile 12V vehicle installation technician role in the Waldorf, MD area. You will be dispatched from your home to various customer locations to install vehicle GPS and Camera systems. This is an Independent Contractor position with paid training and mileage compensation for using your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Install 12V telematics hardware, GPS, and camera systems in vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Work as a mobile tech dispatched from home to customer sites.
• Use your own vehicle for service calls and manage mileage responsibly.
• Complete training (approximately four to six weeks) and perform installations to company standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive repairs or car audio installation is preferred.
• Savvy with tools, vehicles, and using a smartphone.
• MECP certification is a plus.
• Ability to operate independently as an Independent Contractor.
• Own vehicle required (mileage is compensated).
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in varied customer locations.
