Job summary

Belle Tire is seeking a Mobile Glass Technician to perform glass repair and installation for customers in South Bend, Indiana. You'll be responsible for traveling to customer locations, ensuring high-quality service with safety as a priority.

Job description

As a Mobile Glass Technician at Belle Tire, you keep life moving for our customers by repairing and installing windshields and other auto glass, thriving in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment focused on safety and quality.

What You'll Do

• Travel to customer locations to perform auto glass installation and repairs
• Inspect vehicles and determine appropriate repairs or replacements needed
• Safely remove and replace windshields, side windows, rear windows, and other auto glass
• Effectively communicate with customers, addressing concerns or questions
• Safely drive a mobile glass van equipped with tools and glass required to perform repairs/replacements
• Ensure the glass van and all equipment and tools are well‑maintained and safe
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform other duties as assigned by your manager

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license
• Five (5) years of auto glass repair/replacement experience on all types of vehicles
• Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods, bend and lift up to 75 pounds

Work Environment

This position is an on‑the‑road driving role involving physical demands, including sitting for extended periods while operating the vehicle and loading/unloading heavy auto glass.
