Job summary

PLACE, a fast-growing tech-enabled real estate company, is hiring a Front End Engineer to build and scale mobile applications across our ecosystem like Brivity Go and PLACE Partner App. You will work with the Engineering Manager, product leaders, and design teams to deliver performant, reliable mobile experiences.

You’ll ship production apps with React Native, collaborate with native teams, and contribute to Agile processes while staying current with mobile tech trends.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience building and maintaining production mobile apps.
• Proficient in React Native with capacity to work across iOS and Android.
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture and integration with product ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using React (TypeScript, Expo, React Navigation/Expo Router).
• Integrate with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) modules when needed.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to scope, prioritize, and deliver mobile features.
• Translate product requirements and designs into high-quality mobile experiences.
• Write clean, scalable, well-documented code and maintain automated tests.
• Debug issues, fix bugs, and improve app performance and reliability.
• Reduce technical debt and participate in code reviews.
