Job summary

Feeding Southwest Virginia is seeking a Mobile Food Pantry Driver to operate the MFP truck and support MM P sites. This role requires CDL A, forklift certification, ServSafe training, and strong customer service while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Leverage coordination with the Programs and Operations teams to plan distributions, maintain vehicle and inventory records, and uphold safety standards during events and routine deliveries in Abingdon, VA.

Qualifications

• One year of tractor trailer operation and long-distance driving experience.
• Forklift certification or proof of MHE training.
• Strong customer service experience and ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Mobile Food Pantry truck and equipment.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance during distributions.
• Coordinate with MFP/MMP site coordinators and partner agencies.
• Maintain records for distributions, mileage, and inventory reports.
• Support Abingdon Operations team and participate in special events.
