Job summary

Creative Security Company Inc is seeking Mobile Flex Officers to support various client sites across the South Bay and Peninsula, with room to grow into a permanent full-time role this summer. Responsibilities include patrolling, responding to incidents, de-escalation, and accurate reporting using TrackTik.

Candidates must be comfortable traveling between San Jose and nearby locations, including Morgan Hill, Redwood City, Palo Alto, and Hayward, with flexible shifts and adherence to the flex

Qualifications

• Current CA BSIS Guard Card required.
• CA Driver's License for mobile patrol travel.
• 8-hour Guard Card training (Powers to Arrest, Appropriate Use of Force) required.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and observe to identify safety hazards, unauthorized persons, and violations.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and 911 calls in a professional manner.
• De-escalate interactions with diverse populations with empathy.
• Use TrackTik to scan checkpoints and maintain digital logs.
• Secure sites for private events, parties, and construction per post orders.

Creative Security is seeking professional and adaptable Mobile Flex Officers to support a variety of client sites across the South Bay and Peninsula. This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy a dynamic work environment and are looking to grow into a permanent full-time role this summer.

Service Locations

Candidates must be comfortable using the company vehicle to travel to various sites starting from San Jose, including:

• Morgan Hill, San Jose
• Redwood City & Palo Alto
• Hayward

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol & Observation: Conduct foot patrols to inspect for safety hazards, unauthorized persons, and security violations.
• Incident Response: Respond professionally to alarms, emergency incidents, and 911 calls.
• De-escalation: Manage interactions with diverse populations, including local transient individuals, with professionalism and empathy.
• Reporting: Utilize TrackTik to scan checkpoints and maintain detailed digital activity logs.
• Site Security: Secure private parties, public events, and construction sites according to specific Post Orders.

Flex Officer Policy

Flexibility is the core of this role. You may be called for a shift anywhere from 1 hour to 2 days in advance. To maintain Flex status and pay rate, officers must adhere to the availability agreement signed upon hire. Declining three or more shifts within a 30-day period may result in a status review or removal from the flex pool.

Requirements

• Licensing: Current CA BSIS Guard Card and a valid CA Driver’s License held for at least 3 years.
• Certificate: 8-hour Guard Card training certificate (Powers to Arrest,3 hrs and Appropriate Use of Force 5 hrs)
• Age: Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of dedicated Mobile Patrol Officer experience, including multi-site route inspections, perimeter checks, and urgent alarm response.
• Professionalism: Excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude are mandatory.
• Grooming: Some sites require a strict "no visible tattoos or piercings" policy.
• Physicality: Ability to stand for extended periods and patrol outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Screening: Must be able to pass an extensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
