Mechanics Hub is hiring a Mobile Fleet Technician in Elmsford, NY to perform mobile maintenance, repairs, and roadside service on light- and medium-duty trucks. This 100% mobile day-shift role offers overtime opportunities and stable year-round work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an automotive or fleet technician working on light- or medium-duty trucks.
• Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with brake, suspension, steering, drivetrain, engine, and transmission repairs.
• Ability to use diagnostic scan tools, digital multimeters, and Power Probes to troubleshoot vehicle issues.
• Must own professional-grade tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light- and medium-duty trucks in a fully mobile environment.
• Respond to roadside breakdowns and complete repairs at terminals and other field locations.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using scan tools, digital multimeters, Power Probes, and testing procedures.
• Repair brakes, suspension, steering, and drivetrain systems, and replace engines and transmissions as needed.
• Work with other technicians to prioritize repairs and keep the fleet safe, reliable, and operating efficiently.
