WHAT YOU’LL DO

1. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair our customers' Commercial Tractors and Trailers.
2. Write detailed work orders - working Mobile Road Calls and/or In Yard.
3. Provide quality customer service.
4. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components.
5. Perform preventative maintenance measures on fleet semi-trucks and trailers.
6. Maintain hubs and axles, adjusting or replacing them when required.
7. Inspect, service, and replace tractor and trailer parts, including tires.
8. Check and repair the brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
9. Test all systems and equipment for performance issues.
10. Ensure that trailers meet the U.S. Department of Transportation's road safety requirements.
11. Compile inspection reports, documenting repairs, and reporting all findings to management.
12. Respond as soon as possible to client queries.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:

1. 5+ years of verified experience in Commercial Tractor and Trailer repair.
2. Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
3. Ability to lift 100+ pounds.
4. Basic computer skills to submit repairs for billing.
5. Ability to follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks.
6. Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT:

1. Experience with welding; certification a plus.
2. High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical school degree is a plus.
3. Class A CDL.
4. Your own tools.
