Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Inspect and repair truck/trailer systems and components.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Assemble/disassemble engines, clean fuel tanks.
  • Maintain hubs, axles, and trailer parts, including tires.
  • Repair brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Test systems for performance issues.
  • Ensure trailers meet safety standards.
  • Document inspections and repairs, report findings.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, interact in person or via phone.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year trailer mechanic experience or related field preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete repair orders.
  • Basic computer skills for billing and reporting.
  • Teamwork and adherence to safety procedures.
  • Knowledge of ABS, brakes, diagnostics, hydraulics, suspensions.
  • Own tools required.
Preferred Skills
  • Welding experience.
  • High School Diploma.
