CS Truck & Trailer Repair in Calhoun, GA is seeking a skilled Tractor-Trailer Mechanic to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy‑duty trucks and trailers. You’ll work with an experienced team using cutting‑edge technology to keep our clients on the road.

Qualifications

• 4+ years tractor-trailer mechanic experience
• Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks
• Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders
• Basic computer skills to submit repairs for billing
• Ability to work in a team environment while following shop safety procedures
• Knowledge in ABS, brakes, diagnostics, electronics, lights, hydraulics, suspensions
• Provide own tools

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair our customers' Heavy Duty Diesel Trucks and Tractor Trailers
• Provide quality customer service
• Inspect semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components
• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet semi-trucks and trailers
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle engines and clean fuel tanks
• Maintain hubs and axles and adjust or replace them as needed
• Inspect, service, and replace trailer parts including tires
• Check and repair brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Test all systems and equipment for performance issues
• Ensure trailers meet USDOT road safety requirements
• Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report findings to management
• Respond to client queries in person or by phone

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair our customers Heavy Duty Diesel Trucks and Tractor Trailers
• Provide quality customer service.
• Inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing semi‑truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components
• Performing preventative maintenance measures on fleet semi‑trucks and trailers
• Assembling and dissembling vehicle engines and cleaning the fuel tanks.
• Maintaining hubs and axles and adjusting or replacing them when required
• Inspecting, servicing, and replacing trailer parts, including tires
• Checking and repairing the brake, electrical, and hydraulic system
• Testing all systems and equipment for performance issuesEnsuring that trailers meet the U.S. Department of Transportation's road safety requirements.
• Compiling inspection reports, documenting repairs, and reporting all findings to management.
• Responding as soon as possible to client queries, interacting with our customers in person or via phone.

What You’ll Need To Have

• 4+ year Tractor‑Trailer Mechanic experience or related field preferred
• Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks
• Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders
• Basic computer skills to submit repairs for billing
• Ability to work in a team environment while following shop safety procedures
