Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a skilled Repair Specialist in Columbia, South Carolina to maintain our fleet of trucks and trailers. You will diagnose issues, repair equipment to U-Haul standards, and ensure timely service in the field.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter and able to work without supervision.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and automotive/trailer mechanics is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment to U-Haul standards using appropriate tools.
• Perform work in a timely manner and manage service quality.
• Identify causes of operating errors and determine corrective actions.
• Continued education on U-Haul equipment is required.
• Establish efficient routes in the assigned area for repairs.
• Maintain inventory of repair parts and log parts usage.
