Clean Harbors North Canton, OH is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to maintain and repair the fleet across branch locations. This role emphasizes health and safety, hands-on inspections, and preventative maintenance.

You will travel up to 70% of the time, use your own basic tools, and join a team that offers growth, training, tuition reimbursement, and a clear path to increased compensation after 90 days.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience working on heavy-duty trucks & equipment.
• 1+ years DOT inspection experience.
• Must provide own basic tools.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority and follow safe work practices.
• Correct equipment deficiencies and perform preventive maintenance per management.
• Inspect equipment to identify unsatisfactory conditions.
• Comply with PPE requirements during all tasks.
• Travel to other locations to perform repairs and maintenance as required.
• Complete and submit PM scheduling paperwork.
• Maintain active light-duty or DQ driver status as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
