Job summary

Clean Harbors Henderson in Henderson, CO seeks a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to maintain and repair the company fleet across branch locations. You’ll perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs while upholding safety standards and PPE requirements.

Role requires 1+ years on heavy-duty trucks, 1+ year DOT inspection experience, and the ability to travel up to 70% within the territory. You must provide basic tools and be flexible with shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• 1+ years experience on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• 1+ years DOT inspection experience required.
• Must provide own basic tools.
• Willing to travel within territory up to 70%.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Flexible with shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to assess vehicle condition via inspections and tests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and safety as the top priority on all tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance and correct equipment deficiencies.
• Inspect equipment thoroughly and identify unsatisfactory conditions.
• Ensure PPE compliance during all activities.
• Travel to other locations to service equipment as required.
• Complete PM paperwork for tracking schedules.
• Maintain active light-duty or DQ driver status as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
