Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking an Automotive Technician/Mechanic in Norfolk, VA to service light to medium duty fleet vehicles. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and document repairs for ongoing fleet reliability.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on automotive experience, strong diagnostics, and a valid driver’s license. You will work both independently and with a team, maintain tools, and adhere to safety standards in a mobile/shop setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Candidate must own and maintain their own tools.
• Willingness to meet physical job requirements and safety standards.
• DOT physical/drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to medium duty fleet vehicles.
