Job summary

Matheny Motors Oakland Park, Florida invites applications for a Mobile Truck Technician to join our Fire and Emergency Team. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, a skilled technician with strong electrical and mechanical abilities, and comfortable with PMs, brakes, steering, and electrical harnesses.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing fire pump and aerial ladder systems, wiring harnesses, programming lights to customer specs, and verifying that vehicles meet exact

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class B with Air license.
• Experience as a truck mechanic in manufacturing.
• Strong electrical experience and ability to read specs.
• ASE/ EVT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair fire pump and aerial ladder issues.
• Assemble under dash harnesses and electrical components.
• Program lights per customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot 12V DC and 120V AC circuits.
• Test products to ensure performance to specifications.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area and read specs.
