Job summary

SteelcoBelimed Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician for Charlottesville, VA to travel to hospital sites and complete installation, service, and maintenance of SteelcoBelimed products.

The role emphasizes strong mechanical aptitude and excellent customer service, with on-the-job and classroom training in the first year. Candidates should have 3+ years of industrial electrical wiring experience, ability to read P&ID drawings, and willingness to travel regionally, including some overnights

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with industrial electrical single and 3-phase wiring and controls.
• Experience troubleshooting water and pneumatic process controls.
• Ability to read and red-line P&ID and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using test instruments.
• Measure and adjust instrumentation using calibration equipment.
• Install, modify and repair SteelcoBelimed and/or 3rd party equipment.
• Manage customer base; balance PM workload and repairs.
• Demonstrate correct usage of equipment to customers.
• Conduct product in-service trainings as required.
