Job summary

Luton Bennett is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician (Field Service Engineer/Mechanic) to service forklifts and materials handling equipment from a home base, primarily around Worcester/Birmingham. The role includes PPM and breakdown work, with full training and a company van provided for both work and personal use.

The position offers up to £37k–£42k depending on hours (40–45 per week), with overtime and paid door-to-door travel, plus a pension and holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Candidates with experience on cars, plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment are suitable.
• Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis.
• Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment.
• Spares placed in van overnight.
