Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Resident Field Diesel Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy construction equipment at customer sites. You will travel, document work orders, and ensure safety and quality while delivering exceptional service.

Requirements include a Class A CDL or ability to obtain, 4+ years of diesel repair experience, and strong diagnostic skills. This role may require overtime and travel; expect to operate company vehicles safely and professionally.

Qualifications

• Four+ years diagnosing and repairing diesel-powered heavy construction equipment.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record; Class A CDL or ability to obtain.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities with mechanical and electronic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform field repairs, maintenance, and preventative maintenance at customer sites.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to OEM specifications.
• Test, inspect, and evaluate major systems to identify failures.
• Document labor, parts, and repair details in company systems.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and company vehicles.
• Communicate repair recommendations clearly to customers.
• Assist with parts inventory and participate in training.
