Job summary

tdgFacilities is seeking a full-time Mobile Maintenance Technician in Columbus, Ohio to service our clients in the region. You will perform general building maintenance, including on demand repairs, preventative maintenance, light electrical/plumbing, carpentry, and related tasks.

We offer a company vehicle for service delivery, a supportive team culture focused on balance and teamwork, and regular hours with occasional on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in commercial facilities maintenance services.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Detail oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to self-manage and deliver services with a high degree of quality/accountability.
• Effective communication and time management skills.
• Must pass a background check, drug screening, and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance including timely on demand repairs and scheduled maintenance on buildings.
• Complete work in general skilled areas including light electrical, plumbing, and general systems maintenance.
• Perform general carpentry tasks, including drywall patching, painting, drywall, and related tasks.
• Small project work / provide special project support.
• Conduct periodic safety inspections, and other proactive facilities requests.
• Maintain and use equipment safely and properly.
• Maintain detailed and complete records of maintenance, repair, and testing activities.
• Maintain truck stock and inventory within company guidelines.
• Use computer to modify and monitor work order management system.
• Other tasks as assigned.
