Job summary

New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Event Equipment Technician to keep our fleet moving at NASCAR races and other large venues across the US. This full‑time role reports to the Event Operations Manager and requires extensive travel.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, basic tech skills, and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather. The position involves on‑site work 150+ days, maintenance of golf carts, generators, pressure washers, and safe

Qualifications

21+ years of age and ability to obtain medical card for driving company vehicles.
Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of small engines are strongly preferred.
Basic ability to use technology (email, Excel, tablet, laptop).
Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
Proactive, team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Professional interactions with customers and employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

150+ days on location for events outside Harrisburg, NC.
Perform maintenance and repair on equipment (golf carts, pressure washers, generators) at events and at the Concord, NC service center.
Safely operate equipment (golf carts, generators, pressure washers, diesel pickup trucks, trailers up to 10,000 lb).
Safely load/unload golf carts on trailers.
Assist with event preparation, setup, customer interaction, and event execution.
