Job summary

HK Solutions Group is seeking a Mobile Mechanic who will travel to active job sites, yards, and staging areas to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment across the service territory. The role covers a fleet of sewer cleaners, vacuum and hydro-excavation trucks, jetters and CCTV vans, with minimal supervision from a service truck.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of heavy equipment, commercial truck, or industrial equipment repair experience.
• Ability to read hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic schematics.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to obtain DOT medical card.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to job sites, yards, and staging areas to perform diagnostics, repairs, and scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, fittings, and PTO-driven systems on equipment.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems.
• Repair 12V and 24V electrical systems on equipment.
• Service high-pressure water systems and related components.
• Maintain and repair CIPP support equipment, including boilers and UV systems.
• Diagnose and repair chassis systems including brakes and suspension.
• Perform welding and fabrication repairs in the field as needed.
• Document all work in the maintenance system with hours, parts, and labor time.
