Job summary

Element Resources LLC is seeking a qualified diesel mechanic to service, troubleshoot, and repair a range of mobile equipment in a demanding work environment. You will work on diesel, gas, and propane engines and diagnose electrical and hydraulic issues.

The position requires at least a high school diploma or GED, 4+ years of experience, and an ASE certification. You will maintain parts inventory, communicate with customers, and operate in a safety-conscious facility in Indiana.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Four years of diesel mechanic experience is a plus.
• Minimum one ASE certification (Truck Equipment Installation and Repair, Electrical/Electronic Systems Installation and Repair, or Auxiliary Power Systems Installation and Repair) required.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and safe work practices.
• Welding ability and certification maintenance required.
• Read and understand manuals/blueprints; read gauges and diagrams.
• Indiana driver’s license; basic MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine PM service on a range of mobile equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems on mobile equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems on mobile equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel, gas, and propane engines.
• Maintain proper spare parts inventory.
• Respond to customer needs professionally.
