Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Shop Mobile Equipment Mechanic to maintain the mobile equipment fleet and perform inspections and preventative maintenance. The role involves diagnosing faults, repairing and replacing parts, and keeping detailed service records to ensure maximum uptime.

You will read manuals and drawings, operate heavy equipment for diagnostics, and adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements while working local shifts. Prior experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience servicing relevant heavy industrial equipment

Responsibilities

• Test mechanical products and equipment to ensure proper performance
• Repairs and replaces damaged, worn parts
• Operate and inspects heavy equipment to diagnose defects
• Diagnose faults using engine diagnostic equipment
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment
• Clean, lubricate and perform routine maintenance
• Read manuals, blueprints and technical drawings
• Schedules maintenance for industrial machines and equipment, and keeps equipment service records
• Adheres to all safety protocols including PPE and OSHA/MSHA requirements
• Ability to work shifts as required

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
