Qualifications

• Loader experience is helpful on this site.
• General understanding of good manufacturing practices and machine setup.
• Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
• Basic math skills and calculator use.
• MSHA training will be provided after hire.
• Passing drug and physical testing and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety rules, procedures and government regulations.
• Perform equipment inspections and monitor operation.
• Operate mining equipment efficiently in various weather conditions.
• Load product and overburden in open pit mine; attend safety meetings.
• Adhere to MSHA safety guidelines and document production data.
• Maintain equipment and complete maintenance orders.
• Test samples to ensure materials meet specifications.
• Transfer materials between work areas and coordinate with other departments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
