Job summary

Voltava is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator - Forklift/Hi-Lo in Lansing, MI to safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, move and rack materials, and support production flow. You will unload trucks, stock inventory, and keep an organized workspace while adhering to safety standards.

About the Role:

Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move, stage, rack, and deliver materials throughout the warehouse and production areas, including loading and unloading trucks and supporting efficient production flow.

What You Need To Be Successful:

  • Mandatory sit-down forklift experience.
  • Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, or material-handling environment.
  • Commitment to safe work practices and a strong safety mindset.
  • Ability to stand for 8 or more hours per day.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork, initiative, and reliability.
  • Ability to be on time, lead by example, and maintain constructive working relationships.
  • Successful completion of required post-offer pre-employment screening, including background and drug testing.
