Job description

Mobile Equipment Operator 2 (2nd Shift) (Finance)

We are seeking a qualified Mobile Equipment Operator 2 for our 2nd Shift operations in Cordele, GA. This role involves operating heavy equipment such as knuckleboom, wheel loader, or front-end loader. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery including loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, and other industrial equipment. The expected work schedule is 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Principal Responsibilities:

1. Load, unload, sort, and transport materials.
2. Move materials to and from processing equipment, railroad cars, trucks, storage bins, and other areas.
3. Operate levers and pedals to control vehicle and lifting apparatus.
4. Position forks, lifting platforms, or other devices to move pallets, skids, boxes, or materials and transport loads to designated areas.
5. Unload and stack materials using lifting devices.
6. Participate in physical inventories.
7. Assist in moving treatment charges for storage, loading, and unloading.
8. Assist in maintenance and servicing of mobile equipment, including inspections, fueling, safety checks, and cleaning.
9. Document and report mechanical operation and maintenance needs.
10. Assist in hazardous waste processing, handling, and shipment loading.
11. Participate in and contribute to the company safety program.
12. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Mobile Equipment Operator 3 will be trained to meet the qualifications and proficiency of a Mobile Equipment Operator 2.
