JAXPORT is seeking a Mechanic II to maintain and repair its fleet of support vehicles and crane equipment in the Jacksonville, FL area. You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and keep detailed maintenance records using computerized work orders.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years’ mechanical experience, and ASE certification preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Valid driver license and HazMat endorsement required within 3–6 months.
• Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement required within 3–6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains and repairs JAXPORT support vehicles and cranes.
• Operates vehicles and equipment; troubleshoots and repairs electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on mobile and crane support equipment.
• Keeps maintenance records and uses maintenance programs to track work orders.
• Researches and prices parts from vendors as needed for maintenance and repair.
