PetSafe Brands, headquartered in Knoxville, TN, is seeking an Engineering Manager, Mobile Engineering to lead the design, development, testing, and delivery of our mobile apps. You will build a high-performing team, enforce modern mobile practices, and drive AI-assisted productivity improvements.

The role requires deep expertise in native and cross‑platform mobile technologies (Flutter, React Native) and strong ownership of architecture, quality, and security.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in people leadership.
• Strong hands-on background delivering consumer-facing mobile apps at scale.
• Experience with cross-platform frameworks Flutter and/or React Native; native iOS/Android preferred.
• Knowledge of modern mobile architecture: reactive programming, declarative UI, state management.
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines for mobile delivery.
• Experience delivering payments features and PCI-related constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of mobile features and releases with high quality, performance, and reliability.
• Establish standards for cross-platform development and collaboration with backend/cloud, firmware/IoT, web/e‑commerce, design, and QA.
• Drive testing strategies including unit, integration, and UI automation; ensure coverage goals.
• Build and maintain robust mobile CI/CD pipelines and analytics instrumentation.
• Oversee payments integration and security/compliance considerations for consumer apps.
