Job summary

Schemata is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Engineer to join our early-stage team on a full-time basis. You will help ensure that complex 3D environments and multimodal AI capabilities feel seamless, responsive, and intuitive on iOS and Android devices.

You will build the mobile applications that bring our spatial computing platform to life, working across the full stack from UI/UX to backend AI integration, partnering with product, ML, and graphics engineers to ship mission-critical features.

Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping production mobile apps on iOS/Android.
• Strong React Native or cross-platform framework experience.
• Good product sense and user-facing mobile delivery.
• Understanding of mobile performance, battery life, and latency.
• Portfolio or shipped apps demonstrating mobile craft.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance mobile apps with React Native for real-time 3D simulation.
• Connect mobile clients to production systems: streamed assets, loading, live state, APIs.
• Manage end-to-end deployment: TestFlight, MDM, App Store, enterprise distribution.
• Build component systems for consistent spatial and AI-driven experiences.
• Translate product requirements into polished mobile interfaces with strong interaction design.
• Collaborate with product, ML, and graphics engineers to ship mission-critical features.
